The Tennis Center
The Tennis Center features four indoor, hard courts for year-round play. Completely heated and insulated, the Tennis Center offers players a comfortable environment complete with indirect lighting. Learn or improve your abilities with private lessons from our staff of USPTR Certified Tennis Professionals. Adult and Junior tennis programs are also available. The Tennis Shop offers the latest equipment, apparel, and complete repair services. First class amenities include a snack bar and locker room facilities.
US Open Super Saturday Celebration:
September 11th, 11 am - 4 pm
Come out and enjoy the biggest day in tennis known as “Super Saturday”. It’s the US Open’s final Saturday of the tournament in which both the men’s semifinal matches are played followed by the women’s final match. We will be celebrating this event at The Tennis Center with a BBQ on the deck and all the tennis you can play while we watch the US Open matches on widescreen. The Super Saturday Celebration is open to the public and to all levels of players.
During the month of September, we will have a special membership promotion for tennis. Bring a guest to the Super Saturday Celebration and introduce them to all the amenities we enjoy at Woodmoor Pines. If they join the club as a tennis member during the month of September, both you and the new member receive one month of free dues. Super Saturday is our big Tennis Social; invite your friends and have fun! Call the front desk to sign-up (719) 884-7238. $10 per person covers everything.
New Leagues Begin in September:
Now that the summer leagues are winding down and the playoffs are over, it’s time to start our own in house leagues. Sign up for many of our leagues will be on a week to week basis to accommodate everyone's busy schedules. If you are busy one week, you won’t have to find a sub, simply sign up whenever you can play. We have more players than last year, so we have added more leagues to accommodate everyone. We are open to any suggestions you have for leagues schedule if you cannot find a league that fits your needs.

Intro. to Tennis:
Our next class starts on September 11th and runs to October 30th. We meet on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Call the front desk to sign up. This class is for adults who are new to tennis or returning to the game. Class includes 8 weeks of instruction along with practice time during the week. Graduates of the class will be able to participate in our club leagues and receive a special opportunity for membership. $75.00 per person.
